Linden (Lin) Fellerman is a 40 year veteran of payment processing having worked his way up from a ground floor opportunity in 1975 at Los Angeles based and then publicly-traded check approval entity "Telecredit Inc" while only 19 and concurrently attending UCLA during his pursuit of a Bachelor Degree of Economics. Subsequent to earning his degree in 1977 as well as an MBA from Pepperdine in 1980, Linden quickly rose in a career progression through management roles in Marketing, Human Resources, Product Management, Operations, and Data Processing until finally becoming President of Telecredit's largest operating division in 1986. There he was responsible for over $100 million in annual sales and compounded profit growth in excess of 100% during his tenure prior to Equifax acquiring Telecredit in late 1990.
Mr. Fellerman remained as President of the Equifax Check Services Division until leaving in 1995 after 21 years of employment to create Secure Payment Systems ("SPS"), a San Diego based payment processing start-up. Founded in 1996, SPS (www.securepaymentsystems.net) provides payment processing solutions to over 10,000 retail, wholesale, and corporate endpoints across North America. SPS facilitates the transfer of value by providing businesses with a full range of transaction processing, reporting, and risk management tools so they may quickly and confidently accept payments, pay vendors, or transfer funds at the POS or on the WEB. These solutions include underwriting consumer retail finance payment programs, automated origination of recurring & one-time ACH debits and credits, electronic remote check imaging & deposit, real-time risk management database queries, plus a broad-based array of closed loop gift and rewards card processing options.
In late 2012 SPS acquired privately held Advantage Payment Systems ("APS") which is well known and respected for providing secure ACH processing, origination, and reporting services to the short term lending industry and having integrations with over 16 loan management software platforms.
In June 2017 SPS continued to expand its footprint across the U.S by acquiring privately held Delta EZCheck ("EZCheck") a leading nationwide provider of electronic check guarantee, verification, and ACH processing services to the retail and electronic bill payment community.
Mr. Fellerman has two daughters, the oldest of which (Shannon) holds a Bachelor Degree from the USC Marshall School of Business and MBA from Pepperdine University. She is "AAP" certified by NACHA as an Accredited ACH professional working as the Risk Management & Compliance Officer of the combined Secure Payment Systems, EZCheck, and Advantage Payment Systems companies. His younger daughter Nicole holds a Bachelor Degree of Economics from USC and is a multi-year employee and internal consultant with the esteemed international consulting firm of Booz, Allen, Hamilton.
Mr. Fellerman and his wife Patti currently reside in Las Vegas having relocated from San Diego in February 2015 to open the SPS Nevada-based corporate office.
Mr. Fellerman additionally serves on the Board as a Director of the Third Party Payment Processors Association ("TPPPA").
